Jake is an American Board Certified and Washington State Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist and has spent the last 12+ years honing his skills as one of the Northwest’s premier Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinicians.

It was as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps serving three combat tours in Iraq, where Jake would look to the future to see where he might apply his discipline, compassion, and drive to serve others. From his firsthand accounts in combat, Jake would see the effects of traumatic injuries or limb loss and the restoration of function through the use of orthotics and prosthetics.

Jake attended and graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine with a degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Following graduation, Jake completed his clinical rotations with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Seattle, Washington and in 2012 Jake and his family moved to Anchorage Alaska, for adventure and an opportunity to work under some of the finest clinicians in the state.

It was in Alaska, Jake had opportunities to work with a wide array of athletes, to include a few who went on to the Para Olympics in both Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Pyeongchang, South Korea.

When not in the service of others, Jake enjoys spending his time with his Family as a husband and proud father of two. Outside of the clinic, Jake enjoys all things outdoors to include camping, hiking, and physical sports. When indoors you might find him in his wood shop building furniture or custom cutting boards, playing video games with his son, playing boardgames with friends or enjoying time with his dogs.
